About this project

This project is about long form, reflective, intuitive and personal encounters with art (and sometimes literature, landscapes and so on).
Looking longer at art isn't a new idea, but it is one that has been gaining attention in recent years.
Slow Looking began as a way to counter the isolation of residing in a small inland town, while also fulfilling longtime dream to write about art for an enthusiastic audience. That was in 2021 and since then the newsletter has evolved and now finds a home on ghost.io.
This project is made on the unceded sovereign lands of the Barkantji people. Consider joining me in Paying the Rent with a monthly donation to the Dhadjowa Foundation.
